From skeptical to sold: After feeling burned by online professional development, Danielle found a place that challenges her to think differently about her business

Danielle Levy: Integrator Fractional COO

When Danielle transitioned into self employment, she had invested in a mastermind to find the support and coaching that she needed to set the strong foundations for her business success.

Danielle was seeking a container with real women experts where she could truly learn and grow, and was referred to Tara and The Bold Profit Academy by a trusted friend and peer.

Danielle has found her home with a grounded group of professional women experts with coaching, expert teaching, professional development and strategic thinking, showing her how to make bold moves with big impact for herself and her family.

Along the many aha’s that Danielle has had, the biggest one for her was to normalize having a separate savings account that would be there for her if life throws her a curve ball.

Important details about Danielle that you might want to know:

Danielle is an Integrator and Fractional COO.  Her jam is all things people oriented to make businesses grow and thrive, and her audience is B2B and B2C businesses that are six, seven, and maybe not quite eight figures in revenue.

Like many women inside The Bold Profit Academy, Danielle felt frustrated by her 9 to 5 position; there were so many things beyond her control that she saw happening, and that she did not agree with. Her work did not sit well with her values, and as the main breadwinner in the family, she was becoming more and more aware of the risk associated with having her wage coming from one source.

From post pandemic burnout to thriving with a business that 10 x'd in less than 60 days

Sarah Bronstein: Sukkha Interior Design

Sarah’s business, ‘Sukkha Interior Design, has a focus on small spaces, tiny houses, and intentional living

Sarah is fascinated by the impact our environments have on us.

She opted out of the 9-5 for the freedom it gives her to slow down, speed up when she wants to, and to handle work alongside whatever global or personal situations might arise.

When Sarah joined The Bold Profit Academy, she wanted support to make her self-employment a success, and she was looking for accountability, structure, and consistency.

She began her business after being laid off during the pandemic, and when she went back to work for them for a while, it felt out of alignment.

Life was feeling challenging, and she was ready to take action.

Sarah knew she wanted to make her own business work – her body and nervous system were crying out for a change – but also knew that the traditional interior design model didn’t feel right to her. Sarah needed some support in gaining competency with business financials which she felt was standing in her way and initially found Tara via the Bold Money Podcast.

Sarah’s initial Revenue Goal Calculator call with Tara gave her the clarity she needed to see how the business could work and her well-being could thrive.

Within the first 60 days of Sarah very quickly was able to 10x what she was charging clients, could clearly see what made her different in the market and could see the value of what she offers.

Sarah is excited about what the rest of her business journey will look like and continues to find win after win inside of The Bold Profit Academy.

From a three figure offer to a six figure offer in less than a year.

Marie Parks: Content Writer + Strategist, NorthStar Messaging

Marie is one half of the North Star Messaging powerhouse duo, along with her business partner.

NorthStar Messaging is a content marketing and content strategy team who work with service-based businesses earning six to seven figures who are tired of content churn and looking to be strategic about their content.

Prior to the business, Marie was a copywriter working on grant proposals for nonprofits.

She went self-employed and opted out of the 9 to 5 in order to have flexibility, time freedom, and to choose projects and clients that she felt really drawn to.

When Marie joined The Bold Profit Academy, she was split between two markets – building a writing mentorship side, and also serving clients. She also wanted to increase revenue and get clarity on where to focus

Marie thought that getting more leads to build one side of the business in order to leverage a one to many model was holding back their revenue.

Breakthroughs happened by focussing on just one market, really honing in on the ideal client of NorthStar, and getting out of the undercharging/over-delivering cycle.

Marie also noticed that by changing the way they nurtured clients and by offering people with an urgent need a way to engage NorthStar, their sales activities could really shift gears.

Within one year, by focussing on how to differentiate in one market, dialing in what her clients needed and when Marie and NorthStar messaging went from sending our 3 figure offers to writers to a six-figure offer to a client.

The journey to get her has meant research, focus, and doing the work in the curriculum, but what a bold profit result!

From high ticket container trauma to a calm nervous system and big results.

Janet Sawakski: CEO Seven Point Trends

Janet’s company, Seven Point Trends, helps female entrepreneurs and business owners with less than 10 employees create company strategy and organizational charts so that they can realize their goals.

Before starting her own business, Janet worked in an organization on strategic planning. Like many of our members, she started her own business to create some flexibility and freedom in her busy life, and to get paid well for doing work she loves.

Janet was feeling a lot of pressure to make money in her business; she wasn’t making the money that she knew she deserved to make as an expert, and just couldn’t figure out what it was that was missing.

She had invested greatly in other programs, and wasn’t getting results.

As time went on, she became more and more overwhelmed, strung out, and highly in panic mode (something she is far from alone in experiencing).

For Janet, the EMS system that we use within The Bold Profit Academy was the tool that first began to shift everything for her.

EMS stands for Energy, Mindset, Strategy, and it underpins all the work we do here.

When Janet’s overwrought nervous system began to calm, she was able to sleep better, to think more clearly, and to implement the tools we provide. Along with the bespoke coaching and support, she made huge progress in a short amount of time, and began to make the sales she so wanted and needed in her business.

For Janet, taking consistent steps with bespoke support has created the momentum to shift both her wellbeing and her revenue beyond all recognition.

From low ticket, high volume overwhelm to thriving with a premium priced offer.

Sarah Wood: Thrive Coaching

Sarah is still in professional training and is in the prep stages of launching her Thrive Coaching business to support Mums in business to put their own thriving first.

Sarah had been in the healthcare and wellness industry for over 20 years.

She began initially as a nurse, and then moved into corporate in pharmaceuticals, A post-grad in marketing followed, and Sarah moved up the ranks to become Head of Marketing in neuroscience for a very large pharmaceutical company.

When she had children in her early 40s, Sarah left corporate to seek balance between doing purposeful work, managing childcare, and being the lone parent at home while her partner traveled a lot for his career.

After investing in some overwhelming coaching and courses, Sarah listened to Tara in a podcast interview and realized she was chasing the wrong business model. Rather than chasing volume leads for a low ticket offer, she could serve fewer people with a premium-priced offer.

Sarah was hesitant to join The Bold Profit Academy at first, as she needed to feel sure she could see an ROI on this investment. Now a single mom and in the pre-launch phases of her biz, there is a lot to juggle and to consider.

Sarah has found the Thrive List in The Bold Profit Academy a really useful tool to help her decide how and where to invest her time, money, and energy.

As she works through her first 90 days of TBPA, Sarah is drilling down into the details of how to serve her underserved market with a differentiated strategy, and gaining clarity on how to package her premium services.

She is also fired up to model for her daughter what an empowered, wealthy woman looks like.

How Shi found her money motivation, financial literacy, and began to dream bigger.

Shi Chen: Business Building and Visibility for Women Service Providers

Shi Chen helps women service providers and coaches make money doing the things they enjoy.

With a background in education, prior to self-employment she taught in Bejing.

On paper, this was her dream job – but it didn’t feel that way to Shi, and so she pursued professional development in life coaching and started her business.

Shi first came to The Bold Profit Academy in search of skill acquisition to help her grow the business while navigating a young family. She also wanted to become more financially literate and empowered around money.

Shi recognized that she was not motivated by money, but really wanted to get curious enough to see what might be possible for her.

Staying curious enabled Shi to have a huge breakthrough moment when going through the Thrive List exercise. This helped to give her money purpose, and to view expenditure through a totally different lens.

With a new motivation in place, Shi used The Bold Profit Academy community to inspire her financial dreams.

This foundation allowed her to apply Profit First to her business, and to design a long game of wealth acquisition that felt right to her.
