WHAT IS LEADING FROM THE INSIDE OUT?
WHAT LEADING FROM THE INSIDE OUT IS NOT.
THREE TOOLS TO BEGIN LEADING FROM THE INSIDE OUT.
HIGHLIGHTS:
What is leading from the inside out:
When you’re leading from the inside out you’re leading from yourself and the deep knowledge you have about you, who you are, what you desire and what makes you tick as a human being.
Leading from the inside out is a scale.
Some days we get it and some days we screw it up right, but the point is, is that we are consciously creating and cultivating habits, that allow us to be intimate with ourselves, to really know ourselves and to make our decisions from that place.
What leading from the inside out is NOT.
If you were someone leading from the outside in, you are letting outside forces dictate your inner world.
You are letting outside forces dictate your beliefs, your mindsets, your emotions, your stories.
You’re very influenced by others. You are making decisions from a place of ego or fear.
You are most likely consuming a lot of content and you’re cognitively overloaded because you’re looking to the outside to fill you up.
You’re saying, “I don’t have the answers, I have to find them outside of me.”
When you’re leading from the inside out you know that you have the answers within you.
QUOTES:
“When you can influence yourself so when you can get yourself to a place of certainty, you then have influence, leadership over others.
You can walk into a room and influence someone else because you’ve influenced yourself.”
“If you’re leading from the outside in, you’re letting your “not enough story” you’re not good enough, you’re not worthy enough story inform every action.”
“Leading from the inside out is really a journey back to yourself. It’s being in a place that is whole hearted, it’s connecting with the vision that you have for your life.”
